About Me

Hi, I'm Kayla.

I’m an artist based in the Ozarks, painting the quiet moments that define the region I call home. My work is rooted in a love of the outdoors - the way light hits a creek or shines through the trees during a summer sunset or the stillness of a lake before the day gets going. 

I work primarily in acrylic. I love its versatility and the way it lets me build up texture and depth. Each painting I create starts from a real place, whether it be somewhere I've hiked, swum, or simply paused to take in.
